I don’t go looking for #streetart when I travel to a new destination, but somehow, it seems to find me. So now I have this mammoth collection of photos of cool street art from all corners of the globe that I don’t tend to do much with.
The same thing happened when I travelled solo to Singapore recently. But this time I’ve decided to share the photos with you – and a map of where to find them in case you wanna soak them up yourselves.
I’m not sure why, but I had this notion that Singapore was going to be very regimented and therefore dull. I guess it’s because Singapore is known for its cleanliness. I was surprised to find that around most corners was another colourful piece of street art splashed across the wall.
Here are some of my favourite Singapore street art spots mainly from Chinatown and Little India depicting traditional life for the Chinese and Indian immigrants living in Singapore.
